VIAVI has released updated software for the Optimeter, SmartOTDR, T-BERD/MTS-2000, -4000 V2 and OneAdvisor 800.
The latest software release includes several usability enhancements, these are the main new functional additions, for more information please see the release notes:

Optimeter
Avoid service/customer outages by ensuring that no SFP will be shut down while troubleshooting or verifying a potentially live fiber link
o SFP Protect option (ESFPPROTECT) available in Point-to-Point and Real Time test modes (Real Time test is available with OptiTrakPLUS option)

SmartOTDR
Simpler and faster approach to configuring test applications with new intuitive Settings menu layout
o Increased visibility – layout optimized for smaller screen size
o Settings all on one page and grouped by relevance
o Increased setup guidance for OTDR
o Enhanced Autotest mode
o ExpertOTDR, FTTH-SLM, and Power Meter/Light Source (LTS) apps
