Release of Software Version 1.2.0 for the CX300 ComXpert Communications Service Monitor

VIAVI Solutions announced software release version 1.2.0 for the CX300 ComXpert Communications Service Monitor. This release provides new features and an Auto-Test Application. The new firmware contains the following items:

New Features

  • Added TETRA BS T1 Parametric Test as an available option (CX300-DTBS).
  • Added TETRA MS T1 Parametric Test as an available option (CX300-DTPM).
  • Added language support for Simplified Chinese.

Auto-Test Applications

  • ICOM P25 Series (CX300-TPIP25)

Improvements

  • Improved boot time – reduced total boot time to less than 3 ½ minutes.
  • Reduced tab switching time in UI to improve user experience and operational performance.

This firmware also includes a number of fixes.

AVX-10K Software Version 3.0.9 is Now Available

AVX-10K Software Version 3.0.9 is now available. This maintenance release corrects minor issues and provides the user with improvements as a follow-up to the recent 3.0.7 software release that included ILS/VOR test capability.

Updated Software for the Optimeter, SmartOTDR, T-BERD/MTS Instruments (July 2022 release)

VIAVI has released updated software for the Optimeter, SmartOTDR, T-BERD/MTS-2000 and -4000 V2.

The latest software release includes several usability enhancements, these are the main new functional additions, for more information please see the release notes:

 

FiberComplete PRO for T-BERD/MTS-2000 V2, -4000 V2, and OneAdvisor 800 Fiber

True bi-directional fiber certification solutions to improve fiber technician efficiency, driving operational excellence with FiberComplete PRO (formerly TestPRO)

 

Guided and automated referencing for MPO test cables

  • Avoid risk of human errors with animated icons to instruct/guide with the referencing process
  • Reduced setup time and increased result accuracy with integrated IL and ORL referencing for MPO test cords

Support for high fiber count projects with integration of Cable-SLM and MPO switch module with FiberComplete PRO
