SERVICE IMPACT ALERT: StrataSync unplanned service degradation due to AWS outage

Overview:
VIAVI is aware that AWS (Amazon Web Services) is experiencing a major outage today (Monday, October 20, 2025). This is impacting StrataSync Services intermittently.

Current Status:
The following services have been reported to be experiencing issues.

  • {StrataSync web user interface}
  • {StrataSync APIs/external interfaces}

Please note that additional cloud hosted services may be impacted in addition to what is listed here.

Next Steps:
VIAVI is monitoring the situation and will provide updates as we receive them. The restoration of all services is dependent on the resolution of the AWS service outage. Additional information can be found on AWS health dashboard

Maintenance Service Alert: StrataSync services will be unavailable Saturday, May 17th, from 00:01 until 6:00 AM EDT (US server), and 0001 to 0600 CEST (EU Server)

Please be advised that StrataSync services will be unavailable Saturday, May 17th, from 00:01 until 6:00 AM EDT (UTC-4) for US Server hosted accounts, and from 0001 until 0600 CEST (UTC +2) for accounts on the EU (Germany) Server.

NOTE: Please clear your internet browser cache (‘browsing history’ and ‘cached images and files’), prior to logging in to the StrataSync web UI after a new release.

The following web functions, reports, and Instrument synchronization will be unavailable during this maintenance window:

  • {VIAVI test instrument synchronization with StrataSync/CERTiFi}
  • {StrataSync and CERTiFi web user interface}
  • {StrataSync APIs/external interfaces}
  • {StrataSync scheduled and notification emails, including saved views and reports}
  • {StrataSync Reports}
  • {StrataSync Analytics dashboards}
  • {StrataSync data exchange links}

During this period StrataSync will be upgraded to release version 17.6 for bug fix, as well as to support test data upload from VIAVI Mobile Tech app without a connected instrument.

Please be advised that StrataSync services will be unavailable Saturday, April 12th, from 00:01 until 6:00 AM EDT (UTC-4) for US Server hosted accounts, and from 0001 until 0600 CEST (UTC +2) for accounts on the EU (Germany) Server.
